When maritime agencies request fresh water for ships via the dock intakes, the Beirut Port Authority charges $5 per cubic meter, with a minimum of $60. The aforementioned fee is collected according to Table 4 if the water is supplied by citerne.
Water subscriptions for maritime agencies and other office occupants in CATAC-D and CATAC-B buildings are collected as a fixed fee equivalent to half a cubic meter of water consumed annually.
Water subscriptions from contractors and occupants within the port premises are collected by meter, provided that the fee paid to the Authority is not less than a fixed fee for one cubic meter per year.
